Andrew Bender 2008-2009 Ethics Administrator

   The Ethics Administrator is an advocate for the student body as a whole, independent of all other positions and bodies within the Student Government Association. The Ethics Administrator is a unique position, similar to an Attorney General and Student Advocate combined. Utilizing the established SGA Constitution and respective Branch Bylaws, the Ethics Administrator counsels parties and resolves discrepancies of conduct according to the guiding legislative documents and greater ethical principles. The Ethics Administrator has the authority to issue formal reprimands when applicable and seek further disciplinary action through the SGA Student Court if warranted.

   Complaints against members of the Student Government Association should be directed to the Ethics Administrator. Any complaint against the Ethics Administrator should be directed to the Executive Vice President. Beyond formal complaints, the Ethics Administrator is anxious to field questions concerning ethical and appropriate conduct in regard to the SGA Constitution and Branch Bylaws.
